Getting membership to play at Jackpotjoy is nice and straightforward with only a little, light online form-filling required and no credit/debit card details need to be given at this stage if you’re just curious to explore Jackpotjoy’s world a little further before playing for real money. What we didn’t find straightforward was actually trying to locate the ‘Join Now’ link to get to the sign-up form! Admittedly it’s a small point and we’re not going to make a ‘big thing’ out of this, but it could be helpful to newbies if Jackpotjoy did.

Putting the ‘shy-and-retiring-link’ issue aside now, how did this site’s online Bingo experience play out? Well true to this hall’s name it is indeed a joy. Jackpotjoy have done an excellent job with its software console through which you choose and play its games – using the ubiquitous Flash software found on most modern computers, it’s pretty quick to load and a snap to use. In the ‘lobby’ area, there’s a choice of one 90 ball and five 75 ball games to pick and a packed schedule of sessions, some of which have ticket prices going as low as 1p! Yes, just 1p! Now that’s exceptionally thrifty Bingo for those of you on a strict Budget. A properly satisfying online Bingo adventure isn’t complete without decent Chat facilities and Jackpotjoy’s nine rooms are nicely integrated into its playing screen. They’re also pretty lively judging by our visits here, with welcoming CMs to make newcomers feel right at home. Another feature integrated into the onscreen games console are minigames to have a flutter on before, after, or indeed during your Bingo sessions. Whilst other online Bingo sites offer similar functions, we liked how these minigames were integrated as part of the main console, rather then opening in a separate pop-up window. Another nice touch in our opinion. There’s an overall slickness to the Jackpotjoy game software that makes it especially user friendly and we rate it one of the best in this online Bingo business. We reserve one criticism though – the awful Jamiroqai-lite funk muzak that plays between sessions. Thankfully Jackpotjoy allow you to switch it off in the game preferences – something we did straight away…

We were very pleased to see Jackpotjoy has remedied our previous criticism of its UK customer support by now providing a free phone service as well as its email contact, plus we also must praise its very comprehensive, searchable FAQ facility that answered every sensible newbie question we threw at it – clearly asking it daft questions confused it and rightly so! Another change from our last review we’re glad to note is that Jackpotjoy have stopped using annoying pop-up windows on its website – thank you Jackpotjoy, You have our deep appreciation for that small tweak alone!

So, in conclusion, would we recommend playing online Bingo with Jackpotjoy? Deal or no deal? Deal! Absolutely! Its website is perhaps a little busy for our tastes, but this is just the shop window and Gamesys has created a wonderful set of online Bingo games and other gaming treats for Jackpotjoy’s members. Add the vibrant chat rooms, thrifty minimum ticket prices and regularly refreshed promotions to this mix, and we think you’ll find there’s very good reasons to be jumping for (Jackpot)joy.
